"Clear signs, just took a minute"
I used ParkMate for the first time and the signs around the car park were easy to follow. The app instructions matched what was actually there, which helped. It did take me a minute to figure it all out, but it worked fine in the end. Did anyone else find it a bit confusing at first?

I used ParkMate to pay for my parking and it was easy enough. My card worked on the first try, which I always appreciate because I hate when those things act up. The receipt came through fast too. Anyway, nothing fancy, just did what I needed it to do and I was done...

"Good parking, receipt hunt was the part I remember"
The parking itself was totally fine, no real issues there. the main thing I remember is having to poke around for a bit to find the invoices and receipts. I eventually got what I needed, but it wasn’t as easy as I expected...

"Refund was sorted without any drama"
I had to cancel my booking after my plans changed, and I really thought the refund was going to turn into a bit of a hassle. ParkMate got back to me quickly though and explained what was going on.
The money was back on my card a few days later, with no chasing or long back-and-forth emails. Really happy with how easy the whole thing was.

"I signed up for ParkMate and..."
I signed up for ParkMate and overall it was straightforward, but logging in took a couple of tries before it finally worked. I’m not sure if it was my phone acting up or the site itself, if that makes sense. I did get in eventually, so it wasn’t a huge deal, just a little annoying. It works fine once you’re in, but the login process could definitely be smoother.

"Pretty easy to start and extend parking"
I used ParkMate today while I was out running a few errands, mostly because I didn’t want to deal with the parking machine since it was kind of windy and I had a coffee in one hand. Starting the parking session was straightforward. It only took me a minute to choose the right carpark and put in the time, so no real hassle there.
I ended up taking longer than planned because the line at one of the shops was ridiculous, and I was able to extend the parking from my phone without any trouble. Definitely saved me from doing that awkward fast walk back to the car just to avoid a ticket.

"Why does this app always crash when I’m paying??"
I don’t get it, the app seems to fail right when I actually need it. It crashes way too often, especially during payment, which is super annoying when I’m in a hurry. Like… why then??

I found parking without any real trouble. The spots are a little tight, no question about it, but you’re pretty much guaranteed to find somewhere to park

I’ve used ParkMate a handful of times around town, the parking prices themselves seem reasonable to me. I like that I can see what I’m about to pay before I start, because I’m the kind of person who needs to feel like I’m not just blindly agreeing to some random charge.
The only thing is, the extra fees do add up, especially if I’m only stopping somewhere for a quick errand. But I figure it’s still way better than risking a parking ticket, and I’d rather pay a few extra dollars than deal with that whole mess, so I’ll probably keep using it.

"Support replied eventually"
I had to wait a little while to hear back from support, which was kind of frustrating, I guess. They did answer my question in the end though, so it wasn't a bad experience overall. Just maybe a bit slower than I expected.
